1 Person Hospitalized after Crash on US Highway 84 in Lubbock

Lubbock, TX (February 9, 2024) – On Friday night, one person sustained injuries in a crash on US Highway 84 and FM 1585.

The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office responded to a wreck in the area of US Highway 84 and FM 1585 around 8:30 p.m. on Friday. 

They encountered a two-vehicle collision, with the front end of one car burned. 

EMS informed KCBD that the crash resulted in at least one person sustaining moderate injuries, leading to their transportation to UMC. 

However, as of 10 p.m., the LSO has not reported any injuries. 

The DPS continues to work the scene, and updates will be provided as more details become available.
