5 Vehicles Involved in Deadly Crash on Highway 126 in Castaic

 
CASTAIC, CA (March 23, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a multi-vehicle collision Saturday morning in Castaic.
 
The fatal collision happened around 6:18 a.m. on westbound Highway 126 at San Martinez Grande Canyon Road and involved five vehicles.
 
While the cause of the crash has not yet been determined, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene and confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
A SigAlert was issued in the area, blocking all westbound lanes of the highway for unknown duration while officers worked on the scene.
 
Further details, including the identity of the victim, were not immediately available.
 
An investigation is still ongoing to determine who was at fault and to gather all the factors involved in the accident.
