Bicyclist Sustained Injuries in Highway 101 Collision [Fortuna, CA]

Fortuna, CA (January 16, 2023) – At about 11:16 p.m. on Saturday, a motorist reported to 911 a Highway 101 collision. She said she struck a bicyclist on the freeway. 

The caller said she could not locate the person she struck.

Immediately, the emergency team arrived at the scene and located the victim who has major injuries according to the scanner.

Rescuers rushed the bicyclist to a hospital with very serious injuries.
