LAREDO, TX (August 8, 2023) – Saturday, authorities arrested Alfredo Aguilar Jr after an alarming pedestrian crash on 1000 Pace Street.

The incident happened in the 1000 block of Pace Street.

According to initial reports, the driver who hit the woman fled the crash scene. Meanwhile, officers confirmed that the female pedestrian was listed in critical condition.

The following day, officers found the involved vehicle in the crash, as well as the driver identified as 21-year-old Aguilar Jr.

The suspect currently faces charges of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.

Moreover, the victim is in critical condition at a San Antonio hospital.
