Maricopa, CA (October 2, 2021) On Thursday, at least 7 people suffered minor injuries due to a multi-vehicle crash on highway 166.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says that the crash happened at around 7:40 p.m.

Moreover, the CHP says, that the accident involves at least one tractor-trailer combination and 2 or 3 other vehicles.

Additionally, authorities say that a trailer carrying strawberries overturned.

This in turn halted and traffic in both directions for over 10 hours.

Meanwhile, the authorities closed both Soda Lake Road and Klipstein Canyon Road to traffic until 4:40 a.m.
