59-Year-Old Man Dies in State Route 67 Accident [Ramona, CA]

Ramona, CA (December 12, 2023) – A 59-year-old man was killed in a State Route 67 accident Sunday morning.

The fatal collision occurred around 6:15 a.m. near the intersection of 14th Street .

Investigators said a 23-year-old woman driving a 2023 Nissan Altima in the No. 2 lane struck the pedestrian.

Sadly, the man was declared deceased at the scene.

The Nissan overturned and came to a stop against the Bank of America building southwest of the intersection and the driver remained at the scene.

Officers said it does not appear that drugs and alcohol were a factor in the collision.
