58-Year-Old Ray Schlaepfer Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Henderson Avenue [Porterville, CA]

Porterville, CA (March 13, 2022) – On Friday, at about 7 p.m., 58-year-old Ray Schlaepfer sustained fatal injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Henderson Avenue.

The officers responded to the crash scene, in the area of Main Street, and found Schlaepfer unconscious.

Upon investigation, the authorities say that Schlaepfer was crossing the street in a well-lit area when an eastbound vehicle struck him.

Immediately, the paramedics started to perform CPR as they rushed Schlaepfer to a hospital where the officers declared him dead.
