3 Injured in Rohnert Park Accident on Redwood Drive

 
ROHNERT PARK, CA (September 22, 2020) – Monday afternoon, three people suffered injuries in a crash on Redwood Drive near Golf Course Drive in Rohnert Park.
 
First responders came to the Oil Stop on Redwood Drive near Gold Course Drive just after 1:07 p.m. They responded after receiving a report of a car that had crashed into an establishment and pinned a victim.
 
Afterward, the officers found out that an employee drove a Ford F-150 truck that belonged to a customer. As he operated the vehicle out of a car wash, he suffered a medical emergency.
 
Then, the driver lost control of the truck, which drove toward an oil change bay and crashed through a column. As a result, the vehicle hit an employee and a Dodge Ram van on the other side.
 
”There was an off duty nurse that was in the van and he rendered aid until we got there,” Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety Sgt. Jerrod Marshall revealed.
 
Eventually, the Ford steered, went in reverse, and hit another employee who was on a break. The employee sustained cuts to his leg due to the crash.
 
Finally, the truck stopped after backing into an unoccupied Volkswagen car.
 
Responders transported the man who was trapped between the two vehicles. He suffered a serious injury to one of his legs but was in stable condition.
 
Meanwhile, responders also transported the driver who suffered a medical emergency and the other employee. Both of them were listed in stable condition.
