2 People Hospitalized after Head-on Crash on Highway 84 and Palomares Road [Fremont, CA]

Several Injured in Fremont Car Accident on Highway 84

 
FREMONT, CA (May 25, 2020) – Last Sunday, two people were hospitalized while several others were injured in a head-on crash on Highway 84.
 
Just before 7:30 p.m., the CHP officers came to the crash scene in eastbound lanes of Highway 84, just west of Palomares Road. Upon their arrival, they located a gray Toyota Camry and a white Ford Flex sport-utility vehicle that had blocked all lanes.
 
According to the officers, the drivers and passengers, sustained minor to moderate injuries. They confirmed that some juveniles in both cars were also injured. Moreover, two of the injured were transported via an ambulance to area hospitals.
 
Reports revealed that the CHP officers did not administer a Sig-Alert. However, the Fremont police issued a traffic alert that has closed down Niles Canyon Road between Mission Boulevard and Palomares Road. At about 10:00 p.m., the roadway reopened.
 
The roadway reopened around 10 p.m.
 
There have been no updates regarding the current condition of the victims involved.
