LOS ANGELES, CA (August 1, 2021) – Saturday morning, a person died in a two-vehicle crash on 60 Freeway near Grand Avenue.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 3:04 a.m. Moreover, it happened on eastbound 60 Freeway, just east of Grand Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that a 2019 Nissan Armada rear-ended a stalled Honda Accord for still unknown reasons.
 
Furthermore, responders confirmed that the 21-year-old man from La Puente driving the Honda sustained major injuries. Meanwhile, a 20-year-old male passenger of the vehicle sustained moderate injuries.
 
Also, paramedics transported the two victims to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. Both patients were outside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics pronounced a 20-year-old man inside the stalled Honda Accord, dead at the scene.
 
Moreover, responders transported the 44-year-old Moreno Valley man driving the 2019 Nissan Armada to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
 
Also, authorities urged anyone with information about the crash to call the CHP’s Baldwin Park area office at 626-338-1164.
