Male Driver Hospitalized After a Multi-Vehicle Collision in Downtown Santa Barbara

 
Santa Barbara, CA (March 18, 2020) – 1 driver sustained minor injuries after a rollover car crash on the 600 blocks of Garden Street near Cota Street, March 18.
 
The Santa Barbara City Fire Department responded at the crash scene after receiving reports at around 10 a.m.
 
An investigation revealed that a full-size SUV headed northbound on Garden when it was rear-ended by another vehicle before colliding with several parked cars.
 
Crews that arrived then immediately rescued the SUV driver, who was transported by an AMR Ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
 
Meanwhile, the female driver of the rear-ended vehicle reported having no injuries.
 
At this time, details of what occurred leading up to the collision are currently unavailable. Furthermore, the accident is still under investigation.
