YORBA LINDA, CA – Boy Hit, Killed by Pickup Along Casa Oro Drive Near El Cajon Avenue

1-Year-Old Fatally Struck by Driver in Yorba Linda

 
YORBA LINDA, CA (December 28, 2018) – A 1-year-old boy was killed Wednesday after being struck by a pickup truck in the 4000 block of Casa Oro Drive near El Cajon Avenue.
 
The incident happened around 4:50 p.m., according to Orange County Sheriff’s Department Public Information Manager Carrie Braun. Reports say the boy was struck near his home by a pickup truck reversing out of a driveway.
 
The gravely injured child was brought to a nearby hospital where he died. Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and was not arrested but an investigation regarding this is underway.
