Woman Critical after Multi-Vehicle Collision in Paraiso Avenue La Presa
La Presa, CA (May 13, 2020)– Wednesday late morning, one unidentified woman sustained severe injuries while Police arrested a 19-year-old Eric Bravo after a multi-vehicle collision in Paraiso Avenue.
Reportedly, Bravo driving a 2009 Honda Accord crashed into a Toyota Camry near the intersection of Paraiso Avenue and San Francisco Street in Spring Valley, about 11:15 a.m. This a non-injury collision but Bravo immediately fled the scene.
While fleeing to the south, Bravo struck the driver’s side of an eastbound 2010 Volkswagen CC at Jamacha Boulevard, sending both sedans skidding out of control into parked vehicles.
Paramedics transported the Volkswagen driver to Scripps Mercy Hospital in critical condition. She remained unidentified.
Meanwhile, Bravo admitted to the same San Diego trauma center for treatment of minor injuries. He is facing charges on suspicion of hit-and-run and reckless driving causing injury.
