Woman Airlifted After Falling Out of Moving Vehicle in Hesperia
HESPERIA, CA (April 26, 2019) – A woman fell out of a moving vehicle Thursday on the 15 Freeway near Bear Valley Road.
Just after 7 p.m., the San Bernardino County Fire and California Highway Patrol responded to the scene. Upon arriving, crews located a 35-year-old woman suffering from a head injury while lying on the side of the freeway.
According to witnesses, the woman either fell out of a red Toyota Corolla or was pushed from it as it was moving.
Officials say they are investigating this case as a possible domestic violence case.
Sometime during the incident, the Corolla continued going.
Subsequently, Sheriff’s officials responded to a multi-car accident on Bear Valley Road near 5th Avenue. The Corolla reportedly crashed into a couple of cars before crashing into another sedan at this intersection.
Following that accident, police arrested the suspect for felony DUI. Details are limited at this point, but authorities are continuing their investigation.
