Driver Dies in Overturned Pickup Truck Crash in Moreno Valley
MORENO VALLEY, CA (May 9, 2019) – A woman died in an overturned pickup truck crash Wednesday afternoon on the 60 Freeway near Jack Rabbit Trail.
The accident befell around 12:50 p.m. along the eastbound lanes of the 60 Freeway. The 2004 Ford F-150 pickup truck, which the woman was operating, drifted across the freeway lanes at speeds of about 55 mph.
Subsequently, the truck veered onto the shoulder, plowed through a fence and traveled down an embankment.
The woman in the pickup truck was partially ejected from her Ford when it overturned.
According to the California Highway Patrol, she later succumbed to her injuries.
Authorities are unsure what caused the crash. However, they are investigating any possible factors that may have been involved.
