Husband Suspected for Alleged DUI That Kills Wife in a Motorcycle Crash on I-5 164th Street near Lynwood

 
Everett, WA (April 11, 2020) – Couple involved in a fatal motorcycle crash killed wife and injured husband due to a suspected DUI on I-5 north of 164th Street SW.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the fatal motorcycle crash took place on Wednesday at about 10:30 p.m.
 
The police investigation showed that the married couple were seen going north on the freeway.
 
Suddenly, the husband swerved off the road to the north of 164th Street SW near Lynnwood.
 
Due to the impact, the couple was thrown from the motorcycle.
 
The wife identified as Dawn Allen of Everett, 38, was later pronounced dead on the scene.
 
Moreover, the 37-year old husband sustained critical injuries, so responders took him to an area hospital.
 
Shortly afterward, the police further investigated the scene and were looking into the possibility of DUI.
 
The husband will be arrested for more investigation of vehicular homicide and DUI, as per the WSP crash report.
