Man Hospitalized After Being Hit by Vehicle in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (January 30, 2019) – A male pedestrian was hospitalized Tuesday night moments after being struck by a driver on Bear Valley Road at 9th Avenue.
 
The San Bernardino County Fire responded to a pedestrian versus vehicle report that occurred around 6:03 p.m. in the city of Victorville.
 
Emergency responders arrived to find a male pedestrian in critical condition and immediately took him to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. The driver of the red vehicle stayed at the scene and was questioned by officers.
 
The No. 2 lane of westbound Bear Valley Road was shut down due to investigations. The sequence of events that unfolded before the crash is still under investigation.
