VICTORVILLE, CA – Pedestrian Fatally Struck by a Train near 15 Freeway

Person Dies in Victorville Pedestrian Accident

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (February 20, 2019) – Monday evening, one unidentified pedestrian was fatally struck by a train near 15 Freeway.
 
The Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway reported that one of its freight trains may have struck a pedestrian around 8:30 p.m.
 
First Responders were dispatched to the scene around the D Street area where they eventually found the victim. Due to the impact of the collision, the victim was pronounced dead.
 
Both directions of the road were shut down during cleanup and preliminary investigation. An investigation of this crash is being led by the BNSF police since the circumstances and details are limited.
