Semi Truck Involved in Major-Injury Crash on Highway 58 in Kramer Junction

 
KRAMER JUNCTION, CA (October 18, 2019) – Two people were airlifted following a multi-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Kramer Junction.
 
The crash happened around 4:14 p.m. on Highway 58, just west of Highway 395.
 
CHP officials said the crash involved a semi truck and several others vehicles. The semi rear-ended one of the vehicles, which pushed into another car.
 
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped inside a damaged car and was bleeding from the head.
 
Paramedics airlifted two people to trauma centers for the treatment of major injuries.
 
The cause of the crash is under investigation by CHP.
