One Driver Killed in Truck Collision on 60 Freeway [Beaumont, CA]

Truck Driver Dies Near Western Knolls Drive in Beaumont

 
BEAUMONT, CA (April 8, 2019) – Friday afternoon, one driver was killed following a truck collision on 60 Freeway near Western Knolls Drive.
 
According to reports, a large big rig struck his truck on the highway for unknown reasons. Moreover, a witness reported seeing a person lying on the eastbound shoulder of the freeway around 5:00 p.m.
 
Furthermore, officials also say the big rig first veered onto the shoulder before consequently striking the driver. Both vehicles were found in bad shape upon authorities arrival.
 
Due to the extent of his injuries, the trucker died at the scene. A follow-up investigation of this crash is currently underway. More details will eventually be released once available.
