1 Person Dead in Burbank Multi-Vehicle Crash on 5 Freeway and East Burbank Boulevard

BURBANK, CA (June 18, 2023) – Saturday morning, a tragic multi-vehicle accident on 5 Freeway and East Burbank Boulevard killed one person.

The incident happened at around 3:07 a.m. on northbound Golden State 5 Freeway and East Burbank Boulevard.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involved at least three vehicles.

Moreover, officers confirmed that at least one person died in the crash.

Furthermore, the incident blocked multiple lanes of the freeway but has long since reopened.

At this time, the cause of the crash remained unclear. When additional information became available, the public will be notified.
