Passenger Tiffany Ann Peterson Dies in Vehicle Crash on Skyway Drive [Santa Maria, CA]

Santa Maria, CA (May 3, 2024) – Tiffany Ann Peterson, 39, of Orcutt, was killed following a vehicle crash on Skyway Drive Thursday afternoon.

It was about 3:06 p.m. when the deadly two-vehicle collision happened near Hangar Street.

Officers said the pickup truck driven by Charles Peterson was southbound on Skyway Drive when it collided with a Caterpillar telescoping forklift.

The impact of the collision caused major damage to the pickup truck that also crashed into a fire hydrant.

Tiffany Ann Peterson was the pickup truck driver’s daughter and passenger. She was declared deceased at the scene. 

Charles Peterson sustained moderate injuries and was hospitalized.
