Possible DUI Driver Causes Rear-End Crash near Rural Road

 
TEMPE, AZ (August 19, 2019) – Serious injuries sustained in a suspected DUI crash on Baseline Road on Monday night.
 
According to the Police, the collision happened just west of Rural Road. Based on a report, the authorities received a call about a reckless driving vehicle. As officers headed to the scene, they received another call about a vehicle with a similar description that rear-ended another car.
 
The paramedics found the reckless driver without a seatbelt on. The victim sustained serious injuries due to impact. The person in the other vehicle suffered only minor injuries.
 
An initial examination said that impairment could be a factor in the crash. Furthermore, an investigation is currently on-going.
