EASTVALE, CA (March 4, 2021) – Early Wednesday, a fiery head-on accident on Interstate 15 near Cantu-Galleano Ranch Road shut down a stretch of Freeway.
 
The incident occurred at around 3:30 a.m. near Cantu-Galleano Ranch Road, said the California Highway Patrol.
 
The SUV was driving south in the northbound lanes when it crashed head-on into the big rig. As a result, the semi and its trailer caught fire.
 
Moreover, the incident shut down all northbound lanes of Interstate 15 at about 4:00 a.m. Meanwhile, authorities advised motorists to use alternate routes.
 
At about 4:40 a.m., the CHP reopened the No. 1 and 2 lanes of Interstate 15.
 
The authorities haven’t disclosed whether there were injuries sustained in the crash.
