OPD Investigates Fatal Collision in Oroville
Oroville, CA (June 9, 2023) – On Wednesday, 53-year-old Richard Coin of Oroville died following an Olive Highway pedestrian accident.
The authorities received the accident report near Kampong Court at about 8:19 p.m. involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Officers from OPD immediately responded and provided life-saving measures to Coin but he died at the scene.
Moreover, investigating officers said the driver of a 2015 Dodge Charger was unable to stop in time and struck Coin. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated fully with the officers.
