Fresno, CA (May 17, 2024) – A man died in a hit-and-run crash on Blackstone Avenue.

Reportedly, a woman driving a red vehicle ran over and killed a man after a disturbance.

Police responded to a 911 call about a disturbance at the shopping center near Blackstone and Dakota Avenues around 10:22 a.m.

Investigators report the man, in his late 50s, was involved in an altercation in the vehicle and subsequently suffered a fatal accident.

Officers arrived within minutes, finding the victim with moderate to major injuries from being run over. The man was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.

The driver, described only as a woman in a red vehicle, fled the scene eastbound on Dakota Avenue. Investigators are unsure if the act was intentional.
