Pollock Pines Resident Lori Hooper Dies in Highway 50 DUI Crash [Placerville, CA]

Placerville, CA (April 26, 2022) – On Saturday, at around 6:45 p.m., Lori Hooper, 60, of Pollock Pines, died in a Highway 50 DUI crash.

Hooper was the passenger on an eastbound motorcycle that was struck by a Jeep driven by Aaron Folmsbee, 47, near Broadway Drive

Hooper died at the crash scene while the motorcycle driver sustained critical injuries.

Moreover, the officers arrested Folmsbee at the scene.

They booked him into El Dorado County Jail on suspicion of DUI, causing great bodily injury, and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. Officers released Folmsbee on $175,000 bail.
