Van Occupants Hospitalized, Pickup Truck Driver Arrested in North Tustin Avenue Crash

 
Santa Ana, CA (April 25, 2021) – On Saturday, people were injured and police arrested a pickup truck driver in a DUI crash on North Tustin Avenue.
 
The accident took place minutes before 8:25 P.M.
 
Deputies from Orange Police Department were chasing a suspect in the 2300 block area when the pickup truck versus van crash happened.
 
Apparently, the pickup was southbound on North Tustin Avenue, heading Santa Clara Avenue. It collided with a westbound van on Santa Ana Avenue.
 
“As the van proceeded into the intersection on a green traffic signal, it was struck by the truck,” police said.
 
Authorities arrested the suspect at the incident scene on suspicion of evading and felony drunk driving.
