Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Howe Avenue in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (June 22, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle Saturday evening in Sacramento.
 
The fatal incident happened around 9:50 p.m. on Howe Avenue, just in front of Northwood Apartments.
 
Police did not provide many details of how the crash occurred, However, a coroner was called to the scene and pronounced the pedestrian dead. In addition, the identity of the victim will not be released at this time, pending family notification.
 
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. In addition, the driver cooperated with the investigation.
 
All southbound lanes and the first lane of northbound traffic became blocked after the crash.
