Deadly Pedestrian Crash on 60 Freeway in Ontario

 
ONTARIO, CA (January 9, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a minivan Thursday evening in Ontario, according to the California Highway Patrol.
 
The crash happened around 7:42 p.m. on 60 Freeway at Grove Avenue.
 
CHP officials said the pedestrian was walking along the westbound lanes of the freeway when they were hit by a green minivan.
 
The impact caused fatal injuries to the pedestrian whose identity has not yet been released.
 
The CHP is tracking down other witnesses and 911 callers to get their accounts of the deadly incident.
