Hit-and-Run Crash Near 244 Street Injures 2 People [Edmonds, WA]

Edmonds, WA (May 6, 2024) On Saturday evening, a 63-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man suffered injuries after a hit-and-run crash near 244 Street.

According to the Edmonds Police Department (EPD), the disastrous collision happened on 244 Street and 76th Avenue near the border with the Shoreline Police Department.

Officials say that a 63-year-old woman suffered minor injuries and was transported to Swedish Hospital, while a 62-year-old also sustained injuries although declined transport.

Authorities are pursuing the suspect, described as a 5’11” Black man who is 150 lbs. Officials say that the suspect is wearing a green camouflage jacket or sweatshirt with blue jeans and is possibly armed.

Police are investigating the hit-and-run crash and have not released further details at this time.
