Pedestrian Injured in DUI Crash on Broadway Road [Tempe, AZ]

Omar Holloman Arrested after DUI Crash on Broadway Road near Hardy Drive

 
TEMPE, AZ (August 30, 2019) – A pedestrian suffered injuries in a DUI crash on Broadway Road, Friday afternoon.
 
According to the Tempe Police Department, the incident happened at about 4:00 PM. The pedestrian attempted to cross outside of a marked crosswalk near Hardy Drive. There, a westbound vehicle hit the victim.
 
Emergency responders transported the victim to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the driver, identified as 39-year-old Omar Holloman, remained at the scene. Authorities later arrested him on suspicion of DUI involving drugs and released pending charges.
