Hit-and-Run Vehicle Involved In Pedestrian Accident Near Via Monserate

 
FALLBROOK, CA (October 19, 2019) – A pedestrian suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 76 on Friday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 5:55 AM near Via Monserate.
 
Based on a report, a dark red, early 1990s model Toyota Corolla struck the 25-year-old victim. The car fled the scene after the incident. Its right front headlight and bumper were damaged in the collision.
 
The pedestrian suffered major injuries. As a result, paramedics transported to Palomar Medical Center for treatment.
 
The CHP seeks any information from the public about the suspect vehicle and driver.
