Police Searching for Hit-and-Run Suspect in Crash Near Front Street South
Issaquah, WA (February 25, 2021) – On Wednesday, a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash near Front Street South.
The incident happened at around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Second Avenue.
Officers said a man in his 40s or 50s and his spouse were walking along a sidewalk when a driver struck the man.
Right away, the rescuers took the unconscious but breathing man to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
Moreover, officers are searching for the hit-and-run suspect.
Apparently, the suspect abandoned the vehicle at a location a couple of blocks from the crash scene and ran. The suspect is a 6-foot, 250 pounds, white male. He was last seen wearing a yellow reflective jacket, blue jeans, a baseball hat, and a green backpack.
