San Jose, CA (July 30, 2021) – On Thursday, a pedestrian dies in San Jose Avenue accident.

The deadly accident happened at about 9:04 p.m. at the intersection with Monterey Road. 

When the investigating officers arrived, they located the pedestrian accident victim.

Unfortunately, the pedestrian died at the accident scene.

Officers say the victim was crossing Monterey Road outside of a marked crosswalk.

Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Officials do not consider DUI in this crash.
