Pedestrian Dies in Huntwood Avenue Truck Crash [Hayward, CA]

Hayward, CA (October 23, 2021) – On Thursday, officers released a statement that a person has died from injuries in a Huntwood Avenue truck crash.

The accident happened on October 11 at about 1 a.m. near the intersection with Salmon Way.

Officers said the 56-year-old male pedestrian died at a hospital.

Meanwhile, officers withheld the deceased’s identity pending notification of relatives.

Moreover, the truck’s driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the officers’ investigation.
