Fresno, CA (April 30, 2024) Early Tuesday morning, a female was killed in a tragic pedestrian crash on Butler Avenue.

According to police, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision happened at about 12:30 a.m. in front of the Mosqueda Community Center on Butler near Sierra Vista.

Reports say that a car fatally struck a woman walking on the road. Officials pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

Authorities say that the driver stayed at the scene. Police are investigating the driver for possibly being under the influence of either drugs or alcohol.
