Two Injured in Yelm Traffic Accident
Yelm, WA (February 17, 2023) – At about 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, a 38-year-old woman from Roy who was a passenger sustained injuries in a DUI crash on State Route 510.
According to the authorities, a 39-year-old Graham woman was westbound on the freeway when she suddenly drove off the roadway and hit a tree.
The driver and her female passenger from Roy were both injured in the collision.
Immediately, the rescuers rushed the Graham woman to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. The Roy woman, on the other hand, was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Reports say that the driver could face charges of driving under the influence and vehicular assault.
Officers are still investigating.
