Paraglider Hurt and Rescued in San Jacinto Following Crash
SAN JACINTO, CA (March 27, 2019) – A paraglider suffered moderate injuries after crashing in the 200 block of Soboba Road near Chabela Drive Monday morning. Around 10:45 a.m., emergency personnel responded to reports of a paraglider who crashed into the mountainside. According to reports, the accident happened at Soboba Paragliding and Speed Flying. Upon arriving, firefighters, paramedics and other rescue personnel trekked to the victim’s location to find the paraglider with moderate injuries. An aviation crew soon arrived and airlifted the patient to the bottom of the mountain where a ground ambulance was stationed. Soon after, AMR shuttled the patient to an area hospital for treatment.
