One Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash on 55 Freeway at Chapman Avenue [ORANGE, CA]

Injuries and Damage Reported in 55 Freeway Crash in Orange

 
ORANGE, CA (May 17, 2019) – One person was injured following a three-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Orange.
 
The crash happened around 4:09 p.m. on southbound 55 Freeway at Chapman Avenue.
 
CHP officials responded to the scene and located the involved vehicles blocking the slow lane near the off-ramp. A Lexus sedan sustained a rear-end damage. A white Ford Ranger was also damaged from the crash.
 
One occupant suffered a head injury and paramedics were immediately called to give aid.
 
Towing services were requested to remove the damaged vehicles from the crash site.
 
The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
