Suspect Fled After Crash on Windfall Donuts
Fresno, CA (December 10, 2020) – On Wednesday, one was injured in a hit-and-run crash at Windfall Donuts on Clinton Avenue.
The crash took place minutes after 1 p.m. in the intersection with Cedar Avenue.
“We heard a bang sounded like an explosion you know,” said store owner Sokhom Phorth. “I thought maybe a gas tank or something I look around there’s a car that crashed into the wall.”
Phorth added that the driver then backed up and drove off.
Officers will release a description of the suspect.
May this incident be a reminder for all motorists to drive responsibly. Also, drivers should keep in mind that distracted driving, speeding, and failing to yield will lead to dangerous road accidents.

Mark Sweet, a personal injury attorney at Sweet Lawyers, says that serious auto accident cases may call for a separate investigation spearheaded by an experienced lawyer fighting on behalf of the injured party.
