DUI Driver Involved in Crash on Highway 41
OAKHURST, CA (June 16, 2019) – One person was hurt in a DUI crash on Highway 41, early Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place near Rocky Cut Road at approximately 6:09 PM. Based on an initial report, only one vehicle was involved in the incident. It was known that the driver had been drinking prior to the collision.
The paramedics arrived for the driver’s needed medical attention. They recorded complaints of pain from the victim.
The northbound lanes of the highway closed while rescue and clearing operations took place in the area.
There is an ongoing investigation to determine contributing factors. No additional information has been released to the public.
