SANTA CLARITA, CA (May 30, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a startling traffic crash on Bouquet Canyon Road led to injuries.

The incident happened at around 12:19 p.m. on Bouquet Canyon and Newhall Ranch Road.

According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, a northbound patrol vehicle with lights and siren on collided with a vehicle that failed to notice the patrol vehicle.

Moreover, responders transported one person to a hospital with unknown injuries. Also, two patients were treated at the scene and refused further treatment and transport. 

Furthermore, authorities confirmed that the deputy was responding to a report of a burglary in progress near the intersection of Skyline Ranch Road and Malabar Street when the incident occurred.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station continued to investigate the crash.
