3 Injured in Princeton Deadly Collision
Princeton, TX (April 22, 2024) – Nancy Dominguez, a North Texas officer, was killed in an E Lucas Road collision Saturday afternoon.
It was about 5:20 p.m. when the fatal 2-vehicle crash happened on Lakeview Drive.
The Princeton Police Department stated that the victim was off-duty when the collision happened.
According to the investigating officers, a Ford F-150 was westbound when its back end lost traction due to wet roadway conditions.
The Ford’s driver attempted to gain control of the vehicle but skidded into the eastbound lane. A Honda Civic driven in the same lane struck the passenger side of the Ford and both of the two vehicles slid off the roadway.
The Ford driver and its two other passengers were transported to Medical City McKinney with non-life-threatening injuries.
Dominguez, who was in the Civic, was transported to Medical City McKinney where she was declared deceased.
