Driver Dies After Crashing Into Wall in Oakland

 
OAKLAND, CA (February 26, 2019) – A driver was killed Friday afternoon when her vehicle crashed into a freeway wall. The accident happened in the 3900 block of Aliso Avenue near Highway 13.
 
Officials are investigating the 2:33 p.m. crash that happened just below Highway 13 and near Redwood Heights Elementary School.
 
According to Officer Johnna Watson, the victim was said to be alone in the car when the crash occurred. Under unknown circumstances, her vehicle crashed into a freeway wall in the Oakland Hills, authorities said.
 
The victim’s name or age was not available.
