Deadly Traffic Crash on Interstate 35 Claims a Life [San Marcos, TX]

DPS Investigates Fatal Traffic Collision Near Yarrington Road

San Marcos, TX (April 26, 2024) On Friday morning, a deadly traffic crash on Interstate 35 led to a loss of life.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal traffic collision happened around 4:47 a.m. in the southbound lane of I-35, near Yarrington Road.

Reports say that police responded to the fatal crash, but officials say that the deadly crash caused closure in the roadway.

Police are investigating the fatal crash and have not released further details about the crash.
