Noah Cordier Fatally Run Over by Hit-and-Run Motorist on Cutting Boulevard Near South 17th Street
RICHMOND, CA (November 27, 2018) – A 1-year-old boy was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver Monday afternoon on Cutting Boulevard near South 17th Street.
According to police, the fatal crash occurred around 11:50 a.m., moments before police were called to the scene near South 17th Street.
Investigators determined that the victim, later identified as Sacramento resident Noah Cordier, was struck by an eastbound motorist traveling on Cutting Boulevard.
Cordier was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries. The female driver fled the scene but was later caught and arrested a few miles away by Richmond officers. The unidentified woman was booked on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter.
An investigation regarding this deadly crash is underway.
