Late Evening Collision with Motorcycle on Highway 20 in Nice Ends in Fatality

 
NICE, CA (May 27, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed following a traffic collision late Monday evening in Nice.
 
The fatal accident happened around 11:36 p.m., on Highway 20. First responders arrived near the Pomo Pumps gas station soon after.
 
According to reports, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a Chrysler collided into each other. However, the details leading up to the collision are unclear at this time.
 
Responding firefighters found the rider down in the roadway upon arrival. The motorcyclist was later pronounced dead on scene as a result of the impact.
 
Moreover, both lanes on the highway were temporarily closed during preliminary investigation. However, the roadway was later reopened around 3:00 a.m.
 
Furthermore, separate tow trucks were eventually requested for both vehicles due to the extent of their damage.
