Motorcyclist Killed, Driver Arrested Following Alleged DUI Crash in Fullerton

 
FULLERTON, CA (May 10, 2019) – A 31-year-old motorcyclist was killed following an alleged DUI crash in Fullerton Wednesday night.
 
Fullerton Police Lt. Tony Rios said the crash occurred at about 6:09 p.m. on Euclid Street at West Baker Avenue, an intersection which is controlled by a stoplight. The motorcycle was southbound on Euclid Street while the SUV was northbound and making a left turn when the two vehicles collided.
 
Responding officers found the motorcyclist on the ground when they arrived at the crash site. The rider sustained serious injuries and was taken to UCI Medical Center. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
 
The 39-year-old woman from Fullerton driving the SUV was not injured, neither was the 13-year-old girl also inside the vehicle. The police arrested the SUV driver on suspicion of driving under the influence and child endangerment.
