17-Year-Old Girl Dead in Tulare Accident on Blackstone Avenue and Martin Luther King Avenue

 
TULARE, CA (March 14, 2022) – Sunday night, authorities arrested Manuel Correia following a deadly crash on Blackstone Avenue.
 
The incident happened at about 9:00 p.m. on Blackstone Avenue, just south of Martin Luther King Avenue.
 
According to reports, a drunk driver struck and killed a 17-year-old Porterville girl. Meanwhile, another teen sustained critical injuries.
 
Moreover, the police confirmed that 83-year-old Manuel Correia of Tulare drove his 2021 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck. Then, he struck both teens in the road while intoxicated.
 
As a result, authorities arrested Manuel Correia on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and DUI causing injury.
